All custom millwork projects require a signed design service retainer prior to the generation of technical elevation schematics or 3D CAD modeling files. Preliminary visual proposals are provided as structural estimates only. Upon deposit clearance, Brieflies Cabinet Co. will release comprehensive, mill-ready floor layout files and wall placement vectors tailored to your estate.
Prior to launching computerized CNC routing sequences, clients or their certified general contractors must provide written sign-off on the final architectural dimensional layouts. Brieflies Cabinet Co. manufactures custom frames directly from these approved layouts. Once fabrication commences:
Wood is a dynamic organic material responsive to localized temperature and relative humidity. To ensure structural integrity, the target installation site must be fully enclosed with operational climate control systems running for a minimum of 7 days prior to delivery. Relative humidity must be strictly maintained between 35% and 55%, with temperatures ranging between 65°F and 75°F. Brieflies Cabinet Co. declines structural liability for joint separation or panel warping stemming from moisture levels outside these bounds.
We provide white-glove delivery in specialized padded frameworks directly to the site coordinates specified in the design contract. The client or representing general contractor must ensure unobstructed, structurally safe corridors from the delivery vehicle to the designated room. Structural framing, wall reinforcement backing blocks (essential for heavy floating bathroom vanities or massive libraries), and electrical junction boxes must be fully completed in accordance with our CAD requirements prior to our team's scheduled arrival.
Standard project billing comprises a 50% initial production deposit, 40% prior to dispatch from our custom Manhattan manufacturing facility, and the remaining 10% balance due immediately upon final white-glove installation completion. Brieflies Cabinet Co. does not accept third-party commercial retainages or delayed general contractor funding schedules unless formally specified in writing.
Every millimeter is configured using localized 3D CAD modeling prior to wood cutting.
